How long it lasts
12 months or 7,500 miles from the date of purchase, whichever comes first.
Who is covered
The original buyer of a new AFECO part bought from AFECO's store on Amazon.com.
What is covered
Defects in materials and workmanship.
What is not covered
- Damage from incorrect installation, accidents, road debris or off-road use
- Damage caused by engine problems such as misfires, oil burning or coolant leaks
- Labor, towing and other costs of removing or installing the part
What we will do
Replace the part, or refund the purchase price.
How to make a claim
Contact us through Amazon messages from your order page, or email support@afecoexhaust.com, and include:
- Your Amazon order number
- The date of purchase
- A statement from a licensed mechanic showing the mileage when the part was installed and the mileage now
- Photos of the problem
- A diagnostic report from a licensed mechanic showing that the AFECO part is the cause of the problem. For a catalytic converter, the diagnosis must show that the converter itself has failed, and not because of an engine problem or another condition that damages converters, such as misfires, oil burning or coolant leaks
Your rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
